Look up in the sky... it's a bird, it's a...yep, it's a bird!!!

We are going to follow this eagle cam! You may access the stream by clicking on this link. Last year, the eggs hatched in the evening, so I want everyone to have access to it for that reason! We will be journaling, making predictions, and discussing the changes in class. If you and your child research any fun facts about eagles, please share with our class!! Copy and paste the address in your internet browser if the link isn't working. http://blog.nwf.org/2011/04/eagle-cam-iowa-bald-eagle-eggs-hatching-live/

SECURITY!!

This blog will be submitted as a project for one of my master's classes on Saturday, February 25th.  I need for the blog to be viewable by my classmates and professor.  Following the class, when I start using it for the classroom, I will change the settings to private!  Only the parents of our classroom will be able to view the blog.  You will have to receive an invitation from me to view the blog.  I will not post pictures of your children's faces, but only of work in progress!

Welcome Parents

Welcome parents!  This site is my new attempt to keep you better informed!  On the right side of the page, you will find some resources for homework, school involvement, curriculum updates, and classroom procedures.  Please be patient with me as I add information to bring this blog up to speed with what we are doing in our classroom!  Please comment with items that you would like to see posted on the blog!  Hope you like it!

Well let's give this a try...

I am venturing into the blogging world!  This began as a project for a master's class, but I started thinking of all the ways it could really help my classroom communication with parents.  So, I am going to give it a try...
